Overview
New Quay is an ideal family holiday place and therefore our programme is run to reach the whole family with the Gospel. The beach is only small, but very picturesque, therefore care needs to be taken during the games session each morning. In nice weather the small beach gets crowded and good numbers of children can be attracted to our meetings.
New Quay is a former fishing port on the Cardigan Bay coast. Its harbour and sandy beaches make it a popular holiday destination for families.
UBMhas been operating in New Quay since 1967 and is very much part of the ‘holiday scene’. The Beach Team receive an warm reception on the beach from families, many of whom return year after year. The ‘traditional’ UBM programme works well here but new approaches are being trialled to maximise the excellent opportunity.
